Sturbridge is a scenic New England town situated 22 miles from Worcester, 60 miles from Boston and 156 miles from New York City. It is located at the junction of U.S. Route 20, Interstate 84 and Exit 9 of the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Approximately one third of the area is still wooded, and many small lakes add to the charm of the locality, and offer chances for boating, swimming and fishing. Many of the surrounding communities are home to large corporate industries, which bring in many national and international travelers each year.
Because of Old Sturbridge Village ( a living 1830s museum), the many spectacular area restaurants, local attractions, gift, craft and antique shops, Sturbridge is also a very popular tourist destination, rich in New England history and traditions.
